Watch that these don’t get too brown. Times may have to be adjusted per your oven. These are very easy and very good.

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup Crisco
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Cream peanut butter and Crisco. Add white sugar and brown sugar, mix well. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and mix well. Place by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten with a fork and bake at 400 degrees for 8 mins.

I’ve had these, and they are AMAZINGLY good! Slightly crisp but still chewy with a wonderful texture, and fantastic flavor. If you make these, you’ll probably want to double the recipe, or be prepared to hide some because they’ll get eaten so fast… maybe double it then hide some too.
