Why buy Reeses Peanut Butter Cups when you ca make your own? I found this recipe in an old church cookbook.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: varies depending on how big you want your piece!
Ingredients
1 cup melted butter
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
Directions
Melt butter in large saucepan. Crush graham crackers and add to melted butter. Add peanut butter and powdered sugar. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt chocolate chips on low, and add 1 tablespoon butter. Spread over pan. Chill and cut into bars.
Substitution: if I don’t have graham crackers, I’ve substituted crushed Rice Krispies, and they still taste great!
