Made from scratch foods, whole grains and natural sweetners, (staying away from processed sugars), learning to cook some meats, such as pork, my favorite, and chicken second, (I’m not a big meat eater, so I don’t mind porking out once in a while!). I currently cook oriental foods best,(Japanese, Filipino and Chinese), and some Southern Mexican foods. I never liked what I called regular “American” foods, they seemed to lack taste – no wonder – I just wasn’t exposed to the right food! When I had a taste of Charlie’s Mom’s cooking – oh my, I’ve been missing out! So, I’m learning southern and country cooking now, and am eagerly trying out Indian recipes – so much fun trying out new spices! YUMMY! And veggies, I just LOVE veggies. I’m also in the process of discovering old family recipes, (Southern Mexican, and Good Old Fashioned Southern Country Cooking).
