Delicious grilled or in the broiler. We eat this several times a month. (Hint: You don’t have to buy actual pork steaks. You can buy a cheaper roast and cut your own steaks!)
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 4 - 6 (about)
Prep Time: 30 minutes - over night Cook Time: 15 minutesIngredients
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1-2 slivered cloves of garlic or 1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground ginger (optional)
1 tsp liquid smoke (optional)
4-6 pounds pork steaks
Directions
Mix all the ingredients and pour over meat. Allow steaks to soak in marinate for at least 30 minutes (over night is best). Place meat on grill or in broiler (discard marinade no matter how delicious it looks and smells. Resist the temptation to brush the marinate on meat as it cooks) and watch until piercing with knife shows no pink meat.
