Are you looking for something which includes powdered eggs and powdered milk, or are you wanting there to be no eggs or milk in your pancakes? Guess there would be no fat, either!

Thanks for asking Pete! I purchase a complete mix that is quite good but expensive. It has powdered eggs, powdered milk and some kind of fat as well. I have searched the internet and never really found one like the packaged ones, so was just seeing if anyone has ever seen or has one that just requires water.

I was looking at Suzanne’s Quick Mix….if you add powdered milk, powdered egg, and shortening/lard/butter to that mix it would work! I think with the added fat to the mix, I would keep the mix in the fridge though.
I don’t have any powdered egg to try this with though, or I would, for the sake of a great pancake mix! 🙂

For everyday use, I’d still want the fresh egg in there instead of the powdered egg. The powdered milk would probably be OK. As Cindy says, adding in the fat most likely would require refrigeration although it would be fine for short term storage. (Am picturing your taking this pancake mix on backpack treks across country!)
