Hi brookdale,
I copied the recipe over from Suzanne’s cooking archives to FBR. http://farmbellrecipes.com/whole-grain-grandmother-bread/
It’s wonderful stuff!

Thank you, CindyP. I will probably use half whole wheat, half white flour, as I don’t have dough enhancer or ingredients to make it.

The dough enhancer makes a HUGE difference, so it is well worth mixing up a batch.
Sometimes my whole wheat bread did fine without it, but we now get a much more consistent loaf by using it. (Whether it’s GMa or other recipes, btw.)

Well I made this bread today, using 2 c white bread flour and 1 1/2 c wheat flour. I didn’t have dough enhancer.
I used the bread maker to make the dough and then raised it in the pan. I have to say it is the best looking loaf I’ve made so far. Tastes pretty good too!
Thanks again for your help.
