1/4 cup vegetable oil
4 – 8 inch flour tortillas
1/2 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 (4 oz) can green chilies, drained and chopped
1 (8 oz) can refried beans
1/3 cup mild taco sauce
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 large tomato, diced
Directions
In a small skillet heat oil and lightly brown tortilla, 1 at a time; set aside.
Cook ground beef and onion until browned then remove from heat. Stir in garlic, chilies, beans and taco sauce.
In a 9 inch pie plate place 1 tortilla, top with 1/4 of meat mixture and 1/4 of cheese; repeat with remaining tortillas.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded lettuce and diced tomato.
