Made this today in an effort to clean up the fridge/freezer of some odd and ends. Tried it over vanilla ice cream and it was WONDERFUL! (It was still a little warm and the contrast with the cold ice cream was nice) Would think it would be equally good over pound cake, white cake, angel food or sliced peaches…

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutesIngredients
1 cup assorted berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 a small jar raspberry jam
2 tablespoon Cassis
Directions
Place berries and sugar in a saucepan with a small amount of water. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes until the berries soften. Let cool. Add jam, cooled berries and cassis to food processor and blend until smooth. Pour into small pitcher or creamer to serve.
