1 cup vegetable oil
¾ cup sugar
½ cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon white pepper
1 large head romaine lettuce
1 head Boston lettuce
1 pint strawberries, sliced
1 cup shredded Monterrey jack cheese
1 cup toasted pecans or walnuts
For dressing: Combine ingredients in jar and shake vigorously.
For salad: Cut or tear lettuce. Toss lettuce with dressing, apply just enough to coat. Add other ingredients and continue to toss.
