Boil everything in a large pot, make sure to dissolve the sugar. Continue to boil until you can smell the cinnamon being released.

Turn off and allow to cool. Add your choice of alcohol. Strain through cheese cloth and bottle.

Makes wonderful holiday gifts. Great for sipping around the fire or warming up when hunting or fishing!
